Resolving
Patient Conflicts
In
resolving patient conflicts within the dialysis setting Network #17
works with both patients and facilities. The Network maintians a grievance
protocol for patients to use when efforts to work out issues directly
with facility staff have been unsuccessful. Network staff often work
with facily administrators, head nurses, social workers, and physicians;
concentrating on solutions to prevent/delay patient discharge. The resources
below should prove helpful in this endeavor.
